For buyers
What does open account (OA) mean?
Open account means goods are shipped and documents released before you pay. You settle the invoice on an agreed date after shipment — up to 90 days with GENGHE AGRI.
How much deposit do I need to pay?
Deposits start from 10% of the order value. The exact amount depends on your credit tier, order size and the limit approved for your company.
How is my credit limit decided?
After our credit review, we apply to China's national export credit insurer for a limit on your company. Your open-account line can never exceed that approved limit.
How long does approval take?
Once we receive complete documents, a limit decision usually takes a few weeks. Timing depends on the insurer's review and the information available about your company.
Which countries can apply?
We prioritise West Africa, the Middle East, South Asia and Southeast Asia, but we review buyers from any country where China's export credit insurer can provide cover.
What happens after I repay?
When an invoice is paid on time, that amount becomes available again within your insured limit, so your line revolves for the next order.
For suppliers
When do suppliers get paid?
Our capital partner funds payment to suppliers for qualifying transactions, settled domestically under the agreed contract terms — suppliers don't wait for the overseas buyer.
Do suppliers carry any credit risk?
No. The overseas buyer credit risk is managed by GENGHE AGRI within insured limits; suppliers are responsible for delivering goods to the agreed specification.

Who is behind GENGHE AGRI?
GENGHE AGRI is operated by Zhengzhou Genghe Agricultural Products Co., Ltd., working with a state-owned capital partner and China's national export credit insurance system.
What products can I source?
Our four core sectors are agriculture, fishery, forestry and animal husbandry. If your product isn't listed, send us a sourcing request.

This website is available in 19 languages, and our trade team will do its best to communicate with you in the language you prefer.
